Case Study: AC Finance
Multi-site corporate infrastructure maintenance, freelance client developments, and server migration advisory.
Project Overview
I developed all five corporate web properties under the group's umbrella from scratch and managed them for multiple years as the primary website maintainer for AC Finance (ac-finance.it), executing continuous technical updates. Operating in parallel as a freelance developer, I built and launched over 20 custom websites for their consulting clients, offering ongoing technical support.
The role included administering bare-metal servers, orchestrating secure automated backup routines, managing transactional e-commerce modules, and advising management on migration structures. Following years of growth, AC Finance acquired another agency and internalized their IT division. Since I was located at a distance in Northern Italy and studying at the time, we transitioned the workflow to their in-house staff.

Core Technical Accomplishments
- From-Scratch Development & Maintenance: Designed and built the group's 5+ corporate websites from scratch, subsequently acting as system administrator executing regular core updates, server migrations, and security auditing with zero downtime.
- Client-Facing Developments: Developed and launched more than 20 bespoke websites for AC Finance's clients, coordinating the entire design, setup, and deployment workflow.
- Infrastructure Advisory: Advised management on high-availability web hosting setups and migration methods, administering bare-metal environments and custom backup triggers.
- Service Transition Coordination: Coordinated with incoming internal IT personnel during the company's internalization transition, documenting and handing over server configurations and domains cleanly.
